The sign-up is officially closed. However, since I only have two bloggers hosting during the read-a-thon, I will let you contact me via email. All you have to do is say you want IN, leave a link to your platform (blogger, wordpress, booktube, tumblr, etc…) and which sort of post you’d like to host!
You an send me an email at leonorner(at)gmail(dot)com 😉
Last year I decided to try my luck hosting a read-a-thon dedicated to the Autumn – the Falling for Autumn Read-a-Thon. Unfortunately I couldn’t be as active as I had planned since my grandfather had died during that week and, as you can imagine, my mind was so far away from everything else I didn’t paid attention to what was happening on. However, I had amazing hosts, guests and followers who supported me and gave me amazing feedback.
Therefore, since I had planned this read-a-thon to be something annual, I have officially opened the sign-up for future hosts.
A little bit of info for those who aren’t familiar with this read-a-thon:
Falling for Autumn is in celebration of the Fall/Autumn and it’ll be a seven days read-a-thon – September 21-27. Bloggers who become hosts (and myself) will post challenges, guest-posts, giveaways, whatever they wish to do in order to make the experience funny to the participants.
Last year I had the opportunity to have daily guests on the blog. These guests were authors who wrote books I absolutely loved in 2014. I still cannot believe they actually replied to me and accepted my request. Unfortunately this year I’m not planning on have daily guests but I’ll try to have at least two – I’m still planning who I shall invite.
So, now that you are slightly familiarised with the whole concept of this read-a-thon (if you still have questions, you can ask them on the comments and I’ll reply to you), let’s see the few rules – yes, there are rules, I know – you need to know in order to become a host:
- You need to have a book blog (in whatever platform you publish – WordPress, Blogger, Tumblr) or a YouTube channel;
- You need to be able to host something (challenge, guest-post, giveaway, whatever you wish as long as it’s funny and about books – of course :P);
- You don’t really have to but it would be better if you added me on Goodreads and became a member of the group dedicated to this read-a-thon (LINK) – this is just for an extreme situation that I can’t contact you via email and having you on Goodreads is easier;
- You don’t need to be a participant of the read-a-thon in order to become a host – if you don’t wish to participate but want to host something, you’re free to do so;
There, those weren’t that bad, were they? Last year I didn’t had so many things when trying to find hosts but with the experience I had, I found it a lot easier to know what I’m looking for. Still, I will gladly accept everyone genuinely interested in becoming part of this with me and the other bloggers.
If you wish to become some sort of co-organiser (does that word exists?), you can say so on the form on the “add comment” section at the end.
So, all you need to do now is signing-up HERE!
If there is any sort of problems with the link, let me know so I can try to figure out what happened. I’m still slightly new when it comes to create forms with google and might mess up things a little bit.
Thank you all for taking your time and I hope to see you all very soon 😉
